I found this recipe on the Delish site. It really was Delish! I followed the directions except we used regular ranch instead of spicy. I also cooked the chicken and bacon with last night's meal which made meal prep to table time about 15 minutes tonight! That is a win win in my book! Here is the video link for complete directions: https://youtu.be/F0w1y8FYqo8 or just click on the picture.
crock pot chicken noodle soup
I added a recipe page in case like me, you always are looking for quick and easy meals for your family. After all reading is even for recipes!!! I found this recipe the other day while in the middle of a search just for soup! Every now and then you just have to have a wonderful bowl of chicken noodle soup. Can't you just smell it now and feel the warmth as you wrap your hands around the steaming bowl. This recipe got raving reviews from 3/4 of my family, which is pretty good since my youngest is not a big soup fan! It was super easy too!
Ingredients: 2-3 lbs of chicken
4 cups water
4 cups low sodium chicken broth
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1 small onion chopped
3 medium carrots chopped
2-3 ribs celery chopped
1/4 cup parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 package No Yolks egg noodles
Place all ingredients but the noodles in the crock pot. Cook for 5-6 hours. Shred the chicken, replace in crock pot, add noodles, stir and cook for 45 minutes. Serve and enjoy! The next time I make this I will add 2 more cups water and broth.
